Referees should preferably be (former) teachers, employers, supervisors, colleagues, or other professionals who are familiar with your personal character, academic performance, and/or professional experience. Referees are expected to comment on your qualifications, strengths, work ethic, reliability, and suitability for admission to AFS University. The references should provide specific examples where possible. Each referee may submit a signed letter of recommendation on official letterhead. Where applicable, the letter should also bear the official stamp of the institution or organization.

Applicants for a scholarship are required to submit official financial documentation for both parents or legal guardians (where applicable). This includes a copy of the most recent Income Tax Assessment Notice and a copy of the most recent Greek Property Ownership Declaration (E9 Form). If only one parent or legal guardian is financially responsible for the applicant, the relevant supporting documentation must be provided accordingly. All documents must be valid, complete, and officially issued by the competent authorities.
